8ο Skloupo Trail Run 2026

The Skloupo Trail Run covers 13.5 km in the mountains around Ampelochori, also known as Skloupo, located in the North Tzoumerka municipality near Ioannina in Epirus. The race begins early in the morning, offering participants a three-hour time limit to complete the course, which includes 395 meters of elevation gain within its compact trail design. The Association of All Ampelochorites organizes the event, with cooperation from the Municipality of North Tzoumerka and backing from the Region of Epirus. This race requires participants to be self-sufficient, as there are no aid stations, emphasizing a journey through the local mountain landscape rather than a supported road race. This marks the eighth edition of the run, which maintains a strong connection to the village and the broader North Tzoumerka region.
