Eroica Dolomiti

Eroica Dolomiti begins and ends in San Candido, in Val Pusteria, with the Dolomites as a backdrop. Held annually in September, it is a vintage-style cycling event, not a standard road race. Participants select from 73 km, 95 km, or 118 km routes, with many riding historic or classic road bikes, embodying the spirit of the broader Eroica movement. The routes feature unpaved sections and traverse the Alta Pusteria and Three Peaks Dolomites region. Depending on the chosen distance, there are three, five, or six aid stations. Participants travel from across the globe, and the event welcomes all. Additional services are available for Eroica Ciclo Club members. The event's foundation lies in the Eroica concept of reviving older cycling principles: exertion, basic equipment, refreshment stops, regional heritage, and the satisfaction of completing a demanding challenge.
