IV^ Costa dei Trabocchi BCC Half Marathon

The Costa dei Trabocchi BCC Half Marathon is a 21.0975 km road race starting at 9:00 AM in Fossacesia, Abruzzo. It is a FIDAL-approved national half marathon on a completely flat route, presented by organizers as one of the faster half marathons. The race also hosts the Italian Individual and Club Master Championship, attracting competitive master runners alongside regular half-marathon participants. The course follows the Via Verde Costa dei Trabocchi, situated between the Adriatic Sea and mountains, and passes through Fossacesia's historic center. Its most distinctive feature is the trabocchi, old wooden fishing platforms built over the water along the coast. Runners will see pebble beaches, sea cliffs, and open Adriatic views. The race has an entry limit of 1,800 athletes for those receiving a race pack, with unlimited registration for runners entering without a pack and medal.
