Maratona Alzheimer

Maratona Alzheimer is a September road-running series in Romagna, Italy, centered on a marathon for Alzheimer’s disease. The race program features a marathon, a half marathon, shorter distances for various fitness levels, and a virtual marathon option. The route connects Romagna’s hills with its coastal landscapes, distinguishing it from a simple city loop. Participants can register as “supportive runners.” Donations, corporate partners, and volunteers contribute to funding Alzheimer’s assistance, prevention, and research via the Fondo Alzheimer 360° project. The race includes chip timing and offers services like bag drop, changing rooms, showers, refreshment points, and race packs.
