The Dommelloop Eindhoven is an annual running race held on the campus of Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Participants can choose between a 5 km or 10 km solo race, or form teams for a 4 x 2.5 km relay. The entire event is structured around a 2.5 km loop, with the start and finish lines located in front of the Auditorium, adjacent to the Koeveld. E.S.A.V. Asterix, the student athletics association in Eindhoven, organizes the race.
The short loop simplifies the race format: 5 km runners complete two laps, 10 km runners complete four, and each relay runner covers one lap. The event includes open and women’s categories for both solo distances, along with a relay category. Student life is integrated into the race, featuring a club classification for student associations and a prize for the association with the most participants, excluding the organizing club from this ranking. Relay teams also have the option to enter a board classification. Runners can collect their bibs and timing chips at a tent near the finish, and the nearby Student Sports Centre offers facilities such as lockers, changing rooms, showers, and a sports café.
