FBK Dubbele Mijl

The FBK Dubbele Mijl is a 3.2 km road race in Hengelo, held during the FBK weekend. It begins inside the Fanny Blankers-Koen Stadium, sending runners out for 3218.69 meters to a finish in the city center. Its short distance suits two types of runner: those aiming for a fast time, and beginners seeking a manageable first event. The course uses paved roads, with the stadium start providing a track-and-field atmosphere before the run proceeds toward central Hengelo. The event offers several race options for different groups. The main Dubbele Mijl also accommodates company teams, allowing colleagues to participate together instead of solely as an individual time trial. Registration may remain open until race day, but could close earlier if bib numbers are exhausted.
