Oudejaarscross Stiens

The Oudejaarscross Stiens is a short cross-country run held on New Year's Eve in the Stienser forest, near Stiens in Friesland. The format involves runners completing a shared lap of approximately 2 km with trainers, followed by up to 45 minutes of running at their own pace. This event is a small, capped race with a limit of 150 participants and no late registration, differing from larger road races. Sportvereniging Friesland manages the organization and communication. Members of the club can pre-register at no cost, while non-members incur a small entry fee. The course area is basic, with no facilities such as toilets, changing rooms, or showers provided at the venue.
