The Ren Voor Hun Leven Cross is a cross-country run held annually in the Zwolse Bos near Heerde, on the second Saturday of March. This charity-focused event offers two distances, five or ten kilometers, and welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. The course is a challenging cross-country path, not a flat road race.
The event's purpose is clear: the full entry fee goes to Compassion’s Mother and Baby program. This program aids vulnerable mothers and children during a child’s first 1,000 days, providing nutrition, medical care, and parenting support. Now in its eleventh edition, the race has a history that makes it feel established, while maintaining a direct, practical mission.
