The Retie Trail begins and ends at Provinciaal Groendomein Prinsenpark in Retie, located in Belgium’s Antwerp province. This October trail run winds through the forests surrounding the park, offering distance options of approximately 8 km, a mid-distance route, and 31 km. Each route is designed as a single large loop, meaning participants will not run the same section multiple times.
Over 80 percent of the course is off-road, utilizing single tracks, tree-lined avenues, forest paths, and park trails, with only minor elevation changes. The event features electronic timing and aid stations. Additionally, there are separate runs for children and a G-run for participants with disabilities. Spectators can explore Prinsenpark during the race or gather near the food and drink area. The event is organized by the Retie department of ARAC Arendonk, with backing from the province of Antwerp.
