The Ronde van Ugchelen is a local road race in Ugchelen, a village in Gelderland southwest of Apeldoorn. It takes place on pavement and features two short distances: a 1.2 km race run over one lap and a 5 km race consisting of four laps plus an additional 200 meters.
The event is organized by AV'34 and is held in conjunction with the Ugchelen cycling tour, giving it the atmosphere of a village sports day rather than a large city event. Ugchelen is situated on the eastern slope of the Veluwe massif, with elevation changes from approximately 21 to 90 meters above sea level. The village has a historical connection to water power, once hosting 11 water mills primarily for grain and paper production.
