Runx Loop

RUNX Loop is a small paved road race in Apeldoorn, Gelderland. The start and finish are at Honkbalvereniging WSB on Kaartenmakershoeve. Runners can choose between 5 km or 10 km. The 5 km race begins in the early evening, preceding the 10 km event. The field is limited to 200 participants, making it a compact, club-style event rather than a crowded mass race. The route is a loop format. The 5 km consists of one small 1.9 km loop and one large 3.1 km loop. The 10 km course uses two of each loop. The course was redesigned after sections of the original route became inaccessible. Kilometer markers are placed along the course. AV Veluo organizes the race under Atletiekunie affiliation. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, first aid, and late registration. A prize for the 10 km course record adds a competitive element.
