Maarssen's Vechtloop is an evening road race through the Dutch village of Maarssen, offering four distances from 1.5 km to 10 km. The two youth races, 1.5 km and 3 km, have no entry fee and start first. The 5 km and 10 km races are for men and women and begin together later in the evening.
The course winds through the village center and alongside the River Vecht, marking it as a local town race rather than a large-city event. Entries are limited to 1,000 participants, and on-site registration is permitted. The race provides changing facilities, parking, first aid, and an AED. The organizer is affiliated with the Atletiekunie, the Dutch athletics federation.
