Ekholtløpet

Årefjorden Rundt starts at Rygge Ungdomsskole and gives runners a choice between 8.3 km and 13 km. It is a mostly off-road race on terrain and gravel, with some asphalt, and it runs through the Moss and Rygge area in Norway. The 13 km race is one of the four events in Mossekarusellen, alongside Albyløpet at 3 km, Ekholtløpet at about 7 km, and Kambomila at about 10 km. Everyone starts together, so the field mixes runners taking on the shorter option with those doing the full loop around Årefjorden.
