Gruemila

Gruemila is a 10-kilometre race in Grue, held in the fall as a separate event from the Grue Half Marathon. This separation gives the shorter distance its own race day, while the half marathon retains its spring date. The race originated from the same local demand that previously filled the 10k associated with the half marathon. Additional entries for the Grue event were almost exclusively for the half marathon, leaving hundreds of runners still without a spot. Therefore, the standalone Gruemila offers competitive 10k runners another opportunity to race in Grue.
