Karmøy Marathon

Karmøy Marathon follows the coast of Karmøy, with the North Sea nearby, and the full marathon route crosses three towns. This November road race in western Norway concludes the local running season in crisp coastal air, offering a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and a 400 m children's race. The marathon presents a greater challenge with 635 m of elevation gain, while the half marathon, also on roads, climbs 138 m. The event attracts both local club athletes and less experienced marathoners, with IL Trio participating in the full and half marathon races. Organizers supply course videos, GPX files, certificates, and route details for participants preparing for race day.
