Karmøy Maraton

Karmøy Maraton begins in Åkra, Karmøy, Norway, held annually in November amid the west coast's cold, wet climate. The event offers a full 42.2 km marathon, a half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 400 m children’s race, serving as a season-ending event for distance runners and families alike. The marathon course crosses three towns and runs along the coast on both the east and west sides of Karmøy. The North Sea is adjacent to the course. November conditions typically range from 2°C to 7°C with frequent rain, making warm layers and wet-weather gear more important than lightweight, summer-race attire.
