Risørløpet is an annual fun run in Risør, held at Kjempesteinsmyra and organized by Risør Idrettslag. Participants can choose between a 5 km or 10 km course, and children have their own short race of approximately 650 meters. The event is designed for general participation, welcoming adults, children, beginners, and more experienced runners.
The event is small and local, not a large race-day operation. The adult cross-country run recently had just under 50 participants, while the children's race attracted over 50 kids and ran out of bib numbers. This gives Risørløpet the atmosphere of a community sports day in Risør, with the children's run being an integral part of the event.
