The Canterbury Winter Trail Run at Mount Cass Station is the second event in a four-race winter series, with each race held in a different off-road location. This course demands effort for its scenery: expect sustained climbs, technical descents, and "constantly changing terrain" that prevents establishing a steady pace. The footing and gradient will challenge you, but the reward is "epic views across the Waipara district" from the higher points.
