Clifton Station by Cape Kidnappers provides this kids’ mud run with an authentic outdoor-race atmosphere, featuring fields, mud, and ample space instead of a controlled circuit. It is part of "NZ's biggest mud run series". The Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge Hawkes Bay translates the adult event’s rugged character for primary and intermediate school runners. The younger school years compete on the shorter course, while years 5 to 8 tackle the longer version. Both courses are designed with "challenging obstacles" at one of the series’ notable locations.
