Biegaj Razem z Nami – Grand Prix Piekar Śląskich

The "Run With Us" – Grand Prix Piekar Śląskich is a six-part running and Nordic walking competition held in Piekary Śląskie. The events take place across April, May, June, and September, concluding with a final in October. Each race is set for Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. Adult participants aged 20 and above will compete in a 5 km race, while Nordic walkers will cover 3 km. Children's races will vary in distance based on age, starting from approximately 200 m for preschoolers and extending up to 1200 m for older students. The competition rotates through different city locations rather than using a single venue. These include Park Brzeziny Śląskie, the MOSiR Orkan stadium in Dąbrówka Wielka, the MOSiR Czarni stadium in Kozłowa Góra, Park Brzozowice-Kamień, Kopiec Wyzwolenia, and the MOSiR stadium on Olimpijska Street for the final event. Participation is open to all ages, requiring a fitness declaration or medical certificate. Those under 18 need consent from a parent or guardian. A distinct school ranking system encourages involvement from kindergartens and schools, aligning with the event's community-oriented goal of promoting physical activity among children, youth, seniors, volunteers, and families.
