PZU Gran Fondo Toruń is a road cycling race held in Toruń, located in Poland’s Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. The start and finish points are situated near the Old Town or adjacent modern sports facilities. Participants can select from 27 km, 68 km, or 110 km routes. The event also offers courses for children and juniors, making it suitable for families and adults seeking a challenging gran fondo experience.
The course guides cyclists through the Vistula Valley and Chełmno Land, featuring flat, quick sections interspersed with technical turns. Following the race, Toruń offers local experiences: participants can sample traditional gingerbread, explore the Living Museum of Gingerbread, stroll along Filadelfijski Boulevard by the Vistula, or visit the UNESCO-listed Old Town. The Leaning Tower and Planetarium provide convenient post-race attractions, complementing a race that combines road cycling with Toruń’s Gothic cityscape.
