Global Ocean Cascais 2026

Global Ocean Cascais is an open water swimming event held in Cascais, Portugal. The start and finish are located at Baía de Cascais, near Praia da Ribeira. Participants can choose from several sea swims: 300 m, 1,500 m, and 3,000 m, in addition to a 4x300 m relay. The event attracts swimmers from Portugal and abroad, establishing itself as a significant open water race on the Portuguese calendar. Each distance features a dedicated briefing and a staggered start. Electronic timing is employed for results, organizing the day more akin to a swim meet than a straightforward beach mass start.
