Trail das Eiras

Trail das Eiras begins and ends at the Pavilhão Municipal Terras de Vermoim in Vermoim, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. This trail running event takes place on Monte das Eiras, offering race distances of approximately 8 km, 16 km, and 25-30 km. An 8 km walk is also available for those who prefer to experience the setting without competition. The courses traverse forest trails and paths on Monte das Eiras, with granite terrain and vistas of the Ave valley. The Associação Moinho de Vermoim is the organizing body, and the circuit is certified by the Associação de Atletismo de Braga. These races contribute to regional and municipal trail championships. Adult participation is open for the longer trail races, individuals aged 16 and older may enter the 8 km youth trail, and the walk is open to all ages.
