Fjällmaraton Gastronomi

Fjällmaraton Gastronomi is a non-competitive mountain trail event held in Ottsjö, Åre Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden. Participants select either a 24 km or 42 km marked route and proceed at their own pace, with a flexible start time accommodating both runners and hikers. The longer route begins and ends in Ottsjö, while the shorter route starts in Trillevallen and concludes in Ottsjö. Food is integral to the event: stations are positioned approximately every 7 km, offering local ingredients prepared on the mountain in collaboration with nearby producers. Those intending to walk at a slower pace are encouraged to start early, aligning with the event’s relaxed structure rather than a traditional race timing.
