The courses traverse Irving and the Las Colinas area, with over 90 off-duty police officers managing street closures and traffic. Lazaro Alvarez and Ronnie Chesko founded the marathon to support the local community, with Alvarez later collaborating with Jaclyn Livingston to develop it into a comprehensive running series.
