The 13th annual Fitzpatrick Team RE/MAX Results Ocean Road 10k is a point-to-point run and walk with a clear route, following Ocean Rd. along the coast before heading toward Town Beach. The course's flatness suits fast runners seeking a time trial, while also accommodating walkers and those aiming for a solid autumn effort by the water. Near the finish, you pass under the Narragansett Towers, a notable landmark as fatigue sets in. Over 2,000 runners and walkers of all paces participate each year, the event sells out annually, and all finishers receive a medal; race photos are shared post-race using #OceanRoad10k.

The Newport Winter 10K is a cold-season 10k held in Newport, Rhode Island. Both the start and finish are located at Brenton Point State Park. Runners will follow Ocean Drive, with the race course situated along the exposed coastline instead of a downtown loop or neighborhood route. The route proceeds clockwise around Ocean Drive from Brenton Point, keeping runners near Newport’s shore for most of the run. This is the event's second annual race, and finishers are awarded a medal and a winter beanie.
