2025 Asheville Independence Day 5K

The Asheville Independence Day 5K is a July 4th 5K race held in Asheville, North Carolina. It begins at 8:00 AM from Pack Square Park at Court Plaza. This race is designed as a holiday-morning event for families and groups. Strollers are permitted, and a team discount is available for groups of four or more. The start and finish are located downtown at 80 Court Plaza, allowing runners to begin the holiday in the center of Asheville. The race also supports a charity: $5 from each entry is donated to Food Connection. Event materials encourage runners to fundraise and make donations during registration.
