2026 Race the Mesa Trail Run

The Hood Mesa Trail Run begins at Lion's Wilderness Park in Farmington, New Mexico, offering 5-mile, 9-mile, and 15-mile distances. Southwest Runners organizes the event, featuring trail distances, chip timing, aid stations, and packet pickup prior to the start. The longer routes allow runners to select between a shorter trail run and a more challenging 15-mile course in the Hood Mesa area. GPX tracks and course maps are provided for all three distances, assisting runners in reviewing the route before race day. Early registrants receive a T-shirt, with packet pickup available the evening before at the Southwest Runners store and on race morning.
