Beat the Bridge 10k/5k 2027

Beat the Bridge challenges runners in Jacksonville, North Carolina, to complete a 10K or 5K run that crosses two bridges and goes through the downtown area during winter. Virtual 10K and 5K options are also available. The in-person races begin at 8 a.m. Eastern time from the Sturgeon City area on Court Street. A free Stroller Child entry for ages 1 to 5 is available for families. The course highlights the bridges as its central feature, with the downtown location connecting the race to Jacksonville and Onslow County. The event is designed for local runners, military families, and the broader community. A portion of the funds raised will benefit Semper Fi & America's Fund. Bib prizes will be awarded randomly during packet pickup on Friday. The Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission owns and operates the race as part of the JOSC Race Series, with Marine Chevy serving as the presenting sponsor.
