EE Exceptional Superhero 5K 2026

The EE Exceptional Superhero 5K is a timed, family-friendly race and fun run that raises funds for Cape Coral Night to Shine events and the Grace Church Exceptional Entrepreneurs program. It also aims to highlight the needs of special needs individuals in Lee County as they transition out of the school system. Participants can run or walk to help create lasting memories and opportunities. This Halloween-themed event includes a costume contest, pet costume contest, stroller decoration contest, candy stations along the route, games, and post-race family fun. Dogs and strollers are welcome but must start at the back of the race. Dogs must be leashed and vaccinated. A new addition this year is the 1-Mile Boo Run & Treat Trail, a non-timed fun run suitable for all ages, featuring treats and Halloween activities. Race date is Saturday, October 31, 2026. Packet pickup is on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Grace Church Lobby Area, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990, and on race morning, October 31, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Race day registration is available from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM; credit card or Apple Pay only, no cash. The race starts at 8:00 AM. Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female Winners, and to the top three finishers in various age groups (9 and Under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+). A race shirt is included with registration for those registered by October 5, 2026. There are no refunds. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing.
