Keeping Diabetes at Bay 5K Walk/Run 2026

The Keeping Diabetes at Bay 5K Walk/Run takes place at Water's Edge Park on Shoreline Boulevard in Corpus Christi, Texas. This 5K is designed for participants to cover the distance at their own pace, welcoming both walkers and runners. This is the fifth annual event, organized by Texas A&M Coastal Bend Health Education Center. The 5-kilometer course is located within or around Water's Edge Park. Packet pickup is available before race day at the Coastal Bend Health Education Center and on race morning at the park. Entry fees fund the Diabetes Education Program, which offers free blood glucose meters, testing supplies, health screenings, and other diabetes management resources to the community. Participants will receive race numbers and disposable timing chips. Early registrants are guaranteed a shirt.
