Labadie Ribfest 5K run/ walk

The Labadie Ribfest 5K run/walk takes place on John F. Kennedy Drive in Bay City, Michigan. It features a 5K run and a 5K walk, with starts scheduled for late morning, allowing participants to finish before enjoying the rest of the Labadie Ribfest. The race is integrated with the festival; registration includes a t-shirt and an all-day festival pass for race day. The festival was previously known as The Pig Gig, and the race resumed after an 11-year hiatus following the retirement of its former promoter. Following the 5K, participants can enjoy local bands in the beverage tent and an evening concert. Awards are presented to the top two runners in each age division and the top two walkers overall.
