2026 Open Water Series Race #6

Open Water Series Race #2 is an evening open-water swim in Norristown, Pennsylvania, beginning at the river access near 1400 S. Trooper Road. This is the second event in French Creek Racing’s six-event summer series, offering both 800-meter and 1600-meter distances. Swims begin at 5:00 PM and conclude by 7:00 PM on Tuesday afternoons or evenings, with Thursday serving as the rain date. Participants park at the Trooper Road lot and walk a short paved path to the river, then turn left to find the launch area approximately 300 yards downstream from the 422 bridge. The race is intended for swimmers already comfortable swimming 800 or 1600 meters in open water. To be eligible for series points and awards, full-series registration is necessary. Wetsuit use adheres to USAT rules: permitted below 78 degrees Fahrenheit and prohibited above that temperature.
