The Padden Triathlon Long Course begins in the morning at Lake Padden Park’s West Entrance in Bellingham, Washington. This is the event’s longer option, featuring an 800-meter swim, a 21-mile bike ride, and a 5.2-mile run, with shorter Sprint and Super Sprint options available for athletes seeking a less demanding challenge.
The race is designed to be straightforward: a simple, well-staffed course, chip timing, and relay options for teams. It attracts first-time triathletes, returning age-group racers, and experienced competitors who use Bellingham as an early-season triathlon destination in the Pacific Northwest.
