Poultry in Motion; Waco Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K and 1K Run/Walk

Poultry in Motion is Waco's Thanksgiving morning turkey trot, featuring a 5K run/walk and a 1K fun run/walk starting in downtown Waco, Texas. The event begins at 101 N. University Parks at Indian Spring Park, near the Waco Suspension Bridge. The 1K starts at 8:00 a.m., followed by the timed 5K at 8:30 a.m. The 5K course is USATF certified, offering a precisely measured route for runners seeking an official road-course mark. The race is also known as the Waco Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, but the Poultry in Motion name conveys its spirit. Options are available for families, walkers, kids, timed runners, and untimed participants, including a youth entry for ages 10 and under without a shirt.
