Rev3 Mighty Matapeake

Rev3 Mighty Matapeake is a USAT-sanctioned multisport festival held at Matapeake Park in Stevensville, Maryland, located on the Eastern Shore just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The event provides triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike races in the Matapeake Beach area, featuring a standard sprint-style triathlon: a half-mile swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. The swim takes place in the Chesapeake Bay, beginning with open water. The bike course follows an out-and-back route on Route 8 (Romancoke Road), and the run utilizes an out-and-back path on the South Island Trail. Duathletes start with a .85-mile run before proceeding with the remainder of their race format.
