Running Hot Clayton Fire 5K

The Clayton Fire 5K begins and ends at the Clayton Fire Department on East Street in Clayton, Delaware. This annual 5K includes separate run and walk divisions, commencing at 9:00 a.m. and concluding by late morning. The event benefits local firefighters, welcoming participants of all abilities. The course map provides directional guidance rather than precise measurements; the primary course detail is the fire station start and finish. Following the 5K, participants gather at the Clayton Fire Station for refreshments and a post-race gathering. Entrants receive a race shirt, with awards presented to overall male and female winners, masters winners, age-group runners from 13-and-under to 70-plus, and the top five men and women in the walkers division.
