SHENANDOAH VALLEY RUNNERS Presents SPEAR TRAIL SERIES

The SPEAR Trail Series is a summer trail-running event held in Sherando Park, Stephens City, Virginia, utilizing the park's bike trails. Shenandoah Valley Runners organizes the series, offering participants a choice of a 5K, 10K, or 50K, accommodating distances from short trail races to ultramarathons. The 5K begins near the concession stand on the softball fields. The 10K and 50K start and finish at the Sherando Park Bike Park and Outdoor Fitness Gym parking area. This longer-race start location provides ample parking and restrooms. Check-in is in the morning, with water and snacks available at the finish line and one water station along the course. All participants receive a T-shirt. The 5K entries support the Sherando Girls Soccer team, and the 10K and 50K entries benefit the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center.
