The Fast and The Furriest 5K 2026

The Fast and The Furriest 5K is a local event held at Three Rivers Health Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The day begins with a 1K fun run/walk at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:30 a.m. A virtual 5K option is also available for those unable to attend in person. Proceeds benefit Fur Babies Adoptions and Rescue. Check payments for mailed entries can be sent through the Cherokee Nation Wings Program. The 5K is USATF sanctioned, features a certified course, and will be timed by Tatur Racing. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in standard 5K age groups. Shirts will be distributed after the race while supplies last, with virtual runners able to collect theirs later.
