About
The Tuesday Night Thunder Race Series is a weeknight criterium bike series in Louisville, Colorado, with racing every Tuesday starting in June. It runs in the evening, from about 5:30 to 8:00 pm, and is built around short, fast laps rather than a long road route. The series is organized by Tendeg LLC and presented by HUNT Wheels and Louisville Cyclery, with Sanitas Sports’ community-first approach behind the event.
The TNT course is only 0.6 miles per lap, so riders come past often and the racing stays tight. It has three wide 90-degree turns, then a long, gradual sweeping uphill turn into the start/finish line, with about 27 feet of climbing each lap. The layout is beginner-friendly, but criterium racing still rewards cornering, positioning, and repeated hard efforts. Races are self-categorized and unsanctioned, keeping the series informal, affordable, and open to riders who want a local Tuesday-night race without a heavy race-weekend setup.
