Lindfield Fun Run

Roseville Oval hosts this event, giving it a distinctly local character: a community charity fun run in Roseville, now in its 31st year. The route travels through “beautiful leafy streets and parks” on the upper north shore, with funds directed to KYDS mental health support, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter, and Mentoring Men. The Lindfield Fun Run presents the type of morning where participants run, walk, stroll, and contribute to the community. From the start, the course navigates established neighbourhoods, utilizing “tree-lined streets and well-maintained pathways” around Roseville Park and adjacent streets. It is largely flat, with mild inclines to keep runners engaged, and the smooth road surfaces are suitable for families, novices, those with prams, regular runners, and fitness enthusiasts. Faster runners will find a “satisfying challenge for serious runners,” while the “community support along the route” is expected to foster an encouraging rather than competitive atmosphere.
