Windsor's running scene centres on the Detroit River waterfront—the Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5km races follow the promenade east toward the Ambassador Bridge, offering flat, fast courses with views across to the US side. Cyclists have two distinct routes: the flat Ciociaro Race Series and Pedals and Passport events roll through southwestern Ontario's agricultural landscape and into Michigan, while serious riders head north toward the Oak Ridges Moraine for rolling terrain within 40km.
