2. SV Greven Deichlauf 2026

The SV Greven Deichlauf begins and ends at Sportzentrum Emsaue in Greven, using Stadion Emsaue as the event hub. This club-organized road race offers distances for young children, students, and general participants: 400 m, 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The 5 km and 10 km courses are officially measured and certified by the DLV, providing a validated route for those aiming for an official time. The course leads from Stadion Emsaue along the Emsdeich towards the Stadtwald, establishing the race's straightforward local character: stadium, river dike, and town forest. Approximately 1,000 participants are anticipated, creating a lively atmosphere without the scale of a major city marathon. Electronic timing is managed by Race-Result, utilizing a reusable chip integrated into the bib, which is collected post-race. Medals are awarded to Bambini runners and age-group champions, with SV Greven 2021 e.V. serving as the organizer.
