Informazioni su questa gara
The Nellinger Kirbe-Lauf closes its race course to cars before the runners start, so the afternoon belongs to the local streets of Ostfildern-Nellingen. The main event is a flat 7.3 km road race for adults, run on a Saturday afternoon in late October, with both the start and finish on Hindenburgstraße in Nellingen. Children and youth races are part of the same program, so it is not only a single adult field lining up for the day.
The course profile is straightforward and flat, which makes the race easy to understand for first-timers and useful for runners who want a clean effort over a short road distance. Public transport is the easiest way in: the U7 Stadtbahn ends about 400 meters from the finish area, while central parking is limited once the event setup and road closures begin. The awards go beyond the overall winners, with age-class prizes, student team trophies, a mixed five-person team competition in the main race, and a company-team prize based on the five fastest runners. The organizing club keeps past results and photo galleries, giving the Kirbe-Lauf a visible local history rather than just a one-day race listing.
