29. Bad Essener Abendlauf 2026

The Bad Essener Abendlauf, an evening run, starts on Kirchplatz in Bad Essen, Lower Saxony, finishing on Lindenstrasse. Held in early July, it features a compact race schedule: a 500 m run for young children, a 1.5 km run for students, a 3.3 km fun run, a 10 km main race, and team relays. The shorter routes consist of flat 2.4 km and 3.3 km courses. The relay has been revised with 400 m legs and two changeover points, allowing spectators to remain near the start and finish area. TuS Bad Essen von 1896 e.V. organizes the event, attracting children, youth runners, adults, local sports enthusiasts, and visitors from Bad Essen’s partner town, Bolbec. Food is offered at the venue, race numbers are distributed on-site, and past editions have seen close to 800 participants.
