45. Fürstenwaldlauf 2026

The Fürstenwaldlauf takes place at Stadion Hopfengarten in Ochsenhausen, located in the Biberach and Oberschwaben region of southern Germany. Sportverein Ochsenhausen organizes the event, which features a 10.55 km main race, a 5 km race, and shorter children's races. Participants can enter across youth, open, and masters age categories. The primary 10.55 km race begins with a lap within the stadium before proceeding mainly onto forest trails, incorporating challenging segments, and concluding with a final stadium lap. The 5 km race also commences in the stadium, follows the initial part of the longer course to a turnaround point, and finishes on the track. Younger participants remain within Stadion Hopfengarten; the Bambini race covers 300 m, and the Schüler races are 800 m on the tartan track. Now in its 45th edition, the race is a well-established local tradition.
