48. Hausener Volks-Waldlauf (TGS-Hausen) 2026

The Hausener Volks-Waldlauf is a local forest running event held at the TGS Hausen sports field on Aachener Strasse in Obertshausen-Hausen, Germany. All races begin and end at the sports field. Adult participants can choose from 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon distances, with shorter races available for children and youth. The event commences in the morning with the half marathon and 10 km races, followed by the shorter events. The main distances utilize transponder timing, with gross time determining the official results. The 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon courses follow clearly marked, flat forest paths, presenting a direct route rather than a challenging trail run. Half marathon participants complete the 10 km loop twice. The 1000 m and 400 m races are held entirely on the sports field. This race is included in the BBF Junior Main-Lauf-Cup. Hausen also offers a 100 km team classification, which the club chairman notes as distinctive within the Main-Lauf-Cup. Late entries are permitted shortly before the start, and children can register without charge at that time.
