7. Herforder Highway Ultra - 108km

The Herforder Highway Ultra is a small ultra race in Herford, limited to 50 participants and based on a GPS-measured 6.0 km loop. Participants can select distances from 24 km up to 108 km, meaning the longest option involves completing the circuit numerous times. Each lap contributes 62 meters of elevation gain, accumulating a significant total over the ultra distances. The course combines asphalt, gravel, and field paths. The event offers refreshments and awards, and this is its seventh edition. The original loop has an environmental permit for a multi-year period, the organizer handles the city permit, and the race is insured.
