Barmstedter Stadtlauf & Krückau-Halbmarathon 2026

The Barmstedter Stadtlauf is a town run in Barmstedt, with the Krückau half marathon offered as the longer option for this milestone edition. The event marks twenty years of local running, and the half marathon provides a distance beyond the usual city-run format. The Krückau half marathon was first introduced for a Stadtlauf anniversary and proved important during the Corona year, as the longer race helped sustain the event. Registrations have increased consistently since then. Holger Sarau and Holger Ray lead the organizing team, and this anniversary edition includes two additional features for running enthusiasts.
