Offendorf-Triathlon

The Offendorf-Triathlon begins with an open-water swim in Hemmelsdorfer See, returning athletes to the Offendorf bathing area for transition and the finish. This mid-July triathlon in Offendorf, Schleswig-Holstein, is organized by PALM-Sports and part of the PALM SERIE. The event features short, sprint, supersprint, relay, Supertriathlon, Volkstriathlon, and Olympic-distance categories, suitable for beginners, teams, and those seeking a longer race. The short course covers 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, and 10 km running. The sprint relay involves 0.5 km swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running, while the supersprint relay uses 0.25 km swimming, 8.5 km cycling, and 2.5 km running. The cycling segment follows roads through meadows, woods, and past old burial sites. The run stays within sight of Hemmelsdorfer See before heading back to the bathing area. Field sizes are moderate, with around 100 participants expected for the individual short distance and smaller relay groups.
